Sumter County Courthouse: Livingston, Alabama -- This structure, built in 1902, replaced the building which burned. County records were spared because the probate office was in a separate building. Photo by John Craiger.

Webb Hall, University of West Alabama: Livingston, Alabama -- Built in 1915, this building was for years a women's dormitory. Remodeled in 1978 and converted to an administration building, it retains its charming front porch with old-fashioned rocking chairs. Photo by Ellen DeRamus.

The Covered Bridge: Livingston, Alabama -- Built in 1861 to span the Sucarnochee River, the bridge was eventually moved to Alamuchee Creek, finally brought to the UWA Campus in 1871. Photo by John Craiger.
